Manage and oversee all aspects of our 3D printed nylon material.Responsibilities Included:- Manage a team of thirty engineers and technicians, tasks and project delegation, schedules and professional development- Creating & Updating weekly P&L reports to track and improve COGS- Applying best practices from Lean and QRM to develop a more efficient production flow through continuous improvements- Working with the Product Team to improve internal production processes and customer facing guidelines

-- Manage, organize, and motivate a team of 3D printing Engineers and Technicians through the full scope of the product, manufacturing, and fulfillment pipeline.-- Oversee all production processes of our 3D printed nylon material.-- Liaise with Product, Tech, and Supply chain teams to help quickly iterate and establish new processes-- Implement continuous process improvements through use of project letters and set deadlines-- Manage profit & loss, budgeting, and costs of goods sold, with a focus on driving gross margin improvement-- Combining best practices from Lean and QRM to develop a more efficient production flow through continuous improvements to ensure good and consistent quality and on-time delivery.-- Scope and manage projects, continuous improvement projects and drive Lean Six Sigma Initiatives-- Lead hiring, staffing, training, performance management, team building, and development activities

-- Operate and maintain 3D printers (EOS, 3D Systems)-- Planned production runs for optimal machine utilization and factory throughput-- Setup production jobs, 3D file processing and preparation for manufacturing-- Write technical documents for Standard Operations Processes-- Communicate effectively one-on-one, within teams and across all departments-- Document machine operation, maintenance and failures-- Develop procedure checklists and online scheduling / tracking documents to improve operations

SOLIDWORKS:Essential training on how to create manufacturing-ready parts and assemblies in SolidWorks using simple 2D sketching and the software’s sketch-editing tools. Step-by-step instruction on how to build 3D geometry from 2D sketches and creation of complex 3D objects with the Extrude, Revolve, Sweep, and Loft tools as well as building of complex assemblies by mating individual components into robust structures.AutoCAD:2D and 3D CAD design, drafting, and modeling for architectural drawing and engineering projects.

Project planning and development, Drafting and preparation of drawings according to specifications of components and structures, Detailed Preparation of weekly reports for main headquarters, Daily coordination with project and site managers, Coordinated shipping and receiving of manufactured products, Supervision of in-house manufacturing and quality control, Vendor sourcing and price negotiation.

Assisted Project Engineers with technical designs of new and existing products, LED Circuit design and layout for manufacturing, Support of marketing activities by attending conferences and trade shows, Calculation of client quotations and administration of client accounts, Testing and Calibration of electronic equipment.

Performing data entry and daily updates of information on database system, Coordination and Supervision of in-house mailings, Occasional substitute for the Executive assistant.
