Hold full responsibility to perform safe and efficient delivery of all cementing services including laboratory testing, bulk/chemical handling, blending/sampling at the bulk plant & chemical warehouse, equipment maintenance/testing, rigging-up, equipment preparation, pre-job checks, Job calculations, cement/spacer mixing, QAQC checks, post job checks ,ticketing, rigging down at the rig site.• Reviews and analyzes drilling programs, basis of designs, surveys, cement job objective, and prepares cement job programs with tailored barrier solutions to meet client requirement and SOWSCO’s expectation.• Prepares well cement job programs and budget to meet job objectives in accordance to SOWSCO’s management system, industrial standards and client requirements. • Designs and simulates cement jobs using CEMPRO+ & DRILLNET softwares. Successfully designed over 20 deep/deviated wells in Gbokoda field for Chevron Nigeria; Squeeze cement jobs in well 5 Ebendo field for Energia; Plug/Abandonment cement jobs in Adibawa field for SPDC;• Interfaces with drilling Engineers to understand testing conditions and requirements necessary for cement slurry designs in compliance with API Spec 10B and other specification from our clients.• Contacts for relevant data and coordinate with all concerned parties to properly finalize work programs and priority to fulfill all requirements. Maintains constant communication with reservoir engineers, drilling engineers and other concerned parties for work priority adjustment when necessary.• Investigates and determines the root cause of poor cement jobs and incorporates findings into our quality management system to mitigate failures in cementing jobs.• Conducts audits quarterly in cementing laboratory to ensure compliance to standard practices and requirements from Chevron, SPDC.• Works with business development, matches SOWSCO’s technical, commercial and operational capabilities to customer needs to effectively sell tailored cement solutions.
