I am a highly experienced Creative Director who has run studios from their infancy to 30+ staff. Understanding what's actually involved in production, I've also streamlined studio and client workflows resulting in better creative and better use of clients’ budgets and time.My expertise and experience comes from producing solutions for some of the UK and the world’s biggest household names down to the smallest local start-ups. I’m passionate about helping businesses of all sizes build their brands to connect them with their clients and customers.I have always been hands-on and have moved with and embraced current technology, design and marketing trends. I have been working online in social media marketing for more than 15 years, with one of my own companies reaching the world’s top 250 social business list in 2012-2013. As well as designing and building websites for our clients, I also train them in social marketing and work alongside them to develop their social strategies which include email marketing, content creation and website development.Alongside my own design studio, childsdesign, I am one of the co-founders of the multi-award winning Artisan Food Trail. Here my branding and online marketing skills are set to use helping small artisan food producers throughout the United Kingdom define their own brands through their marketing, packaging, online and offline presence. The Artisan Food Trail also promotes it’s members to potential new customers to make more direct or in-direct sales.Over the years I have worked in most business sectors and have a great understanding of how our clients’ customers think and act when engaging with their brands - this could be through the images they see, the words they read or the buttons they push. As you’d expect, I’m equally as happy working on our clients’ strategies, designing their brand’s collateral, shooting or retouching their images or helping train them in the things that they can do themselves.
