1. Attended two weeks Mobile Application Development training facilitated by Dale Zak(Mobile project manager at Ushahidi) at BongoHive in December 2011.2. A member of the Lusaka Google-Technical User Group (G-TUG) for development of Android applications on mobile phones.3. Attended the recent Random Hacks of Kindness (Rhok) workshop on Disaster management/ Response to Climate change in June 2011.4. Was part of the Technical team working on the Online Bantu Watch Election fraud and violence monitoring system in the September 2011 Tripartite Elections. 5. Helped in the technical setup of the Zambia Knowledge Centre, a digital library for the Zambia Library Service at the Curriculum Development Centre. A project implemented by VVOB Zambia.5. A member of BongoHive. An initiative characterized of enthusiastic ‘Out of the box thinkers’ software developers committed to solving problems through the development of Mobile Apps6. Worked with the International Conferences, Workshops and Exhibitions(I.C.W.E) as a Student I.T Technical Assistant at the eLearning Africa International Conference in May 2010.7. Setup wireless eGranary at the Kasama College of Education library and integrated it withtheir network. The eGranary is a Digital Library, also known as “Internet in a box”- providesmillions of digital educational resources to institutions lacking adequate internet access.
