At Trinity most of my classes were English, but wherever possible I sought ‘home groups’, which allowed me to teach the same year 8 group for English, Studies of Society and its Environment (SOSE), and Christian Life Studies. These classes gave me an opportunity to develop strong supportive relationships with students and were particularly helpful for developing effective behaviour management systems.
