    • Rebuilt the team. Fired, hired, or transferred members based on their qualifications, cleared job’s requirements, and people’s responsibility. Handled chaotic environments, provided necessities for key jobs lacking support and unstable key features. Improved project management process, solved efficiency and delivery problems for customers, rebuilt management teams, provided good foundations for team members to release their potential and passion, and proceeded with making quality Cloud Gaming products. • Made arrangements for the services releasing activities to ensure the services’ availability. Determined a time window of releasing activities exclusively for modifying or upgrading that time window instead of an arbitrary time of a day. Setup a checklist of the releasing activities, checked the services functionality one by one to make sure they were normal after changes had been made to online services. These arrangements reduced the number of reparations of breaking SLA (service level agreement) from 4 in Q3-Q4 2023, to 0 in Q1 2024.• Setup a new goal for the team and a roadmap to bring the cloud gaming system to a real cloud service product. Served the top game companies in China, helped them to get their games operated in Cloud Gaming. Know exactly how to build a cloud gaming system and what issues we will encounter during the process, made conclusions, and built a cloud service for game companies to get their games running in the cloud. Set new performance goals to let the team know where to go. Divided the system into several components based on the domain of problems under the DDD (Domain Driven Design) principle. Also divided team members in to groups dedicated to those components. Finally, made steps heading to the goal by developmental roadmap from Q2 – Q4 this year.• Transformed the self-hosted management services of cloud gaming into Alibaba cloud-based services.

    • Refactored the SMS (Short Message Service) system which already used Spring Boot, microservices. Simplified the path from receiving to sending messages, changed the protocol model from RPC service to library, merged SUBMIT\SEND\ROUTER three models into one single model, reduced RPC consumption. The refactor helped the system to send short messages in 20,000 QPS (request per second), 800 million messages a month, and saved money for up to ¥40 thousand a month in the cloud usages.
  • X Financial
    Technical Director
    X Financial Oct 2015 - Apr 2020
    Shenzhen, Guangdong, China
    • Setup a DevOps pipeline for mobile apps, which improved the development and delivery efficiently• Foresaw security issues, encrypted access tokens, secured the network communication including using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) and checked the domain name brought from the server to prevent the client’s network from being behind a proxy.• Paid the technical debt by switching programming language from C++ to Java, brought Spring ecosystem to the development team. Also, by DDD principles, remodeled the business model and divided the system into three layers: assets, assets and investing requirements matching, and financial selling packages. There was no such division in the past: instead, a big table mixed all the assets and investing logic together making it hard to expand the businesses and to add more people to develop the system. After the division accelerated the businesses growth, the system quickly managed over ¥20 billion invested.• Proposed and built a team to develop common systems like lotteries, online stores, user notifications, points systems, member referrals, discount cards, etc., which accelerated online marking for our credit products. All products benefited from that and saved a lot of time for online marketing.
