I worked to initiate changes to a data collection and analysis system for this provider of health services. I developed a web application for facility activation status tracking (FAST).* Deployed SMS functionality to receive, interpret and send response based on the content of the messages to originators phone number* Implemented message monitor interface for all inbound messages (inbox) and outbound messages (outbox)* Included SMS functionality to receive and interpret SMS sequence representing the availability or otherwise of TB services in activated facility and send response based on the content of the messages to originators phone number* Stored, analyzed and produced a dashboard that showed status of activation* Provided summary of sites activated per state, per Local Government Area, per month, per quarter* Provided disaggregation of activation by ownership and facility type*Implemented data export and import in CSV format* Implemented interoperability and data exchange with DHIS 2Selected Accomplishments:* Simplified complex operations and freed up staff to increase their productivity* Reduced operation error margins due to manual processes * Eliminated cost overruns and delays

I worked as a subcontractor to technically design and implement a Johns Hopkins University sponsored SMS Commodity Tracking System similar to that deployed in Kenya by the Kenya Urban Reproductive Health Initiative.
