My professional career spans 32+ years within a spectrum of educational environments from homeschooling to itinerant teaching to online instruction and postsecondary education. With a bachelors degree in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education and masters degree in Gifted Education, I have incorporated creativity, technology, and self advocacy within my teaching skills for grades 3-12 and continuing education. My students motivate me to work diligently toward helping them find their success no matter that that success looks like. My interests include learning about other cultures, Hawaiian Hula, reading, and art. My family is very important to my life, and it's a privilege to be a part of their growth and journey into independence.
