It is time to regain the glory of being an agency person now. Working in digital marketing and agency field for over 10 years, I am a strong advocate in data now and I believe data should be the base / insights behind all media & tools investment decision to drive actual business results. Before talking about any media plans, let's talk about data first. However, one step backward first, before talking about data to power-up media plans, let's talk about the real need here: Why brand exist? Why this product? Why this market? Many say agencies are having hard time now as advanced AI is doing jobs where agencies are best for before, such as media plan + buy. That's why agencies can no longer stick with "operations".
