As the pioneering President, I was responsible for setting things in motion in developing the mission, vision, constitution, and objectives and thus registration with the DSA. Spearheading the development of our club's organogram, I have successfully engaged students in our vision for sustainable mobility thus growing membership to presently 77 Students.My position also extends beyond campus borders as I have fostered strategic partnerships with organizations like the Nigerian Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Nigeria (RAIN), and our counterpart at Purdue Electric Vehicle Club. These collaborations have strengthened our club's foundation and expanded our network in the EV industry.On campus, I have been responsible for garnering the support from key departments like Mechanical Engineering and Electronics and Electrical Engineering, as well as the African Centre of Excellence. Together, we are brainstorming and will be developing an innovative electric vehicle projects that align with our sustainability goals.In addition to strategic planning, I lead the development of grant proposals to secure funding for our projects, including workstation development, battery pack building, and conversion projects. This in particular is in process as we await results for funding to execute real hands on projects.Committed to promoting environmental sustainability, I lead cross-functional teams to implement innovative projects aimed at advancing EV technology. Equally, through community outreach and advocacy efforts, we are on course to be and empower the next generation of leaders in the EV industry.In this position, I am dedicated to creating tangible impact and fostering collaboration to drive positive change in the field of sustainable mobility.
