Works across the diverse West London Professional Social Work Projects: - Develops a vibrant and safe community at Methodist Chaplaincy House, a residential hostel for students of multiple ethnicities, through Christian presence, intentional engagement with residents, offering caring support, and organizing regular activities.-Volunteers at the Haven House, a care home for 26 men with long-term alcohol dependency. Initiates and leads a weekly music group to build residents’ self-confidence and fosters cohesion within the community through music-making. Encourages residents to express their thoughts and feelings through encouraging interaction in the context of supportive relationships. - Volunteers at Seymour Place Day Centre where provides frontline and advice services for homeless people. Facilitates a series of interactive music workshops which aim to inspire participants to be creative individuals, enhance their self-esteem and alleviate daily hardships. Collaborates with composer and musicians from the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields over the planning of the workshops and final studio recording session. Operates reception and immediate services including food bank, donations and mail collections. - Initiates and coordinates a choir for King’s Cross Friday Club members, comprises homeless and socially isolated people, and volunteers with diversified musical backgrounds. Administrates recruitment, selects apt repertoire, and conducts rehearsals and performances. Operates music station that plays musical recordings and develops playlists upon members’ request. - Volunteers at two Winter Night Shelters for homeless people (C4WS Homeless Project and Hinde Street Methodist Church)
