Eric W. Ching is an attorney that practices real estate law and business law. Mr. Ching started his career vastly different than other attorneys. Since graduating and passing the bar, Mr. Ching has worked as an litigation associate handling various real estate litigation matters. Even before reaching his six month of practicing law, Mr. Ching was selected to second-chair a complex real estate trial in Los Angeles representing and defending a multinational escrow/title company against a multimillion dollar lawsuit. After a hung jury, this case eventually settled for a favorable amount for the client. Since then, Mr. Ching has handled two complex arbitrations: one representing a multimillion dollar real estate investment and management company. The other representing an international business company dispute which resulted in a $4.85 million settlement. So far in Mr. Ching's career, Mr. Ching has negotiated and settled multiple lawsuits for a total of more than $50 million. Mr. Ching currently represents small business and real estate investors on various transactional issues. He works with many small private real estate landlords on landlord-tenant issues. Mr. Ching is an active member of San Diego's community. He is a member of Taiwanese American Professionals of San Diego; San Diego County Bar Association; and other community groups. Mr. Ching periodically hosts informational seminars on real estate investment, landlord-tenant law, and business law.
