AUTOBIOGRAPHY My name is Ching-Kuo, Cho. As an optimistic, adventurous and athletic person, I determined at early age to study and explore my potentiality in the world of sports. Throughout my college life at National Taipei University, I majored in kendo and took diverse minors as much as possible such as basketball, swimming and work-out. As a result of my outstanding performance, I was selected as Taiwan’s delegate to participate in World Kendo Championship in Brazil in 2009. During my journey in Brazil, I visited the Amazon Rainforest and Providência in the center of Rio de Janeiro (slum貧民窟) and I was so shocked by the culture that I had experienced and amazed how diverse this world can be.After graduation, instead of becoming a PE teacher, I decided to take the job as a videographer in Easton Broadcasting Company. I believed that through the lens of the camera and my passion of photography, I could exploit every corner of the world and raise public awareness of important issues from all kind of perspectives.Taking the assignments of reporting overseas, I had some occasions to talk to the pilots of the airplane that I flew. During the conversations with them, I found that the lifestyle of airline pilots intrigues me while my life goal of exploiting around the globe and broadening my vision and life experience can still be sustained. Therefore, in 2016 I made up my mind and enrolled in an aviation program in the US to become a pilot. What most impressive me first was the flight test, I had been into spin when I was doing maneuvers, unfortunately, I could not solve problem immediately, after that, I realize how important was practicing before every lesson, needless to say, to deal with the pressure that I had cultivated my past experience as videographer during the flight tests, because News company is always a race against time. Proudly I successfully acquired the instrument rating and commercial twin engine rating with less than the standard hours. Now, to be a commercial pilot as my second dream, I am making relentless efforts to improve my language proficiency and acquire more aviation knowledge in order to become a capable commercial pilot that air carriers are looking for.
