Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihood Mission (DAY-NRLM) is a flagship poverty alleviation program implemented by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. It aims to reduce poverty by enabling the poor household to access gainful self-employment and skilled wage employment opportunities resulting in sustainable and diversified livelihood options for the poor. This is one of the world's largest initiatives to improve the livelihoods of the poor.Key highlights during the work period are as follows: Developed livelihood, livestock, agriculture & allied activities, capacity building & trainings, skill enhancement, monitoring, and evaluation through market linkage and value chain analysis across 13 blocks of Dhar district, comprising of 1441 villages, 12487 SHGs, 1,65,894 members. Initiated the raw material procurement process for district-level government school uniform stitching plan worth INR 13Cr, including uniforms for around 2.5 Lakh students. Formulated the master plan for completing Mammoth Uniform stitching plan/s by creating centralized 5 cloth cutting centres and 46 decentralized stitching centres. Promoted ~35K rural kitchen gardens (Poshan Vatika) to uplift rural women's health and commercial vegetable cultivation among ~43K small & marginal farmers for improving their livelihood. Promoted 50+ Producer groups to consolidate the production of small & marginal farmers for better market reach and bargain power with complete handholding and training right from field preparation to harvest and storage practices for least damage and maximum benefits. Selected a group of 100+ woman farmers to promote agriculture practices like Inter Cropping, Multi Cropping, and Multi-layer Farming.  Nodal Officer of the Zila Panchayat Flagship Program regarding the use and preparation of Vermi Compost. For the year 2019-2020 able to harvest 1000+ Kg of compost along with liquid fertilizer, yielding 50K+ in revenue.
