In 2021, I co-founded Forward, an AI-driven platform designed to revolutionize job hunting and skill building. Combining my background in software development and my constantly increasing experience in AI and ML, I’ve been deeply involved in shaping Forward’s vision and delivering impactful solutions.At Forward, I focus on leveraging AI and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to improve the job search experience. My key contributions include:- Developing NLP models: Designed and deployed models on Azure to structure unstructured job descriptions and resumes, transforming raw data into actionable insights that improve search accuracy and functionality.- Optimizing backend systems: Enhanced scalability and resilience by reducing CPU loads by 40% and improving response times, ensuring a seamless experience for our users. Switching from FastAPI to Node.js really helped here!- Analyzing user data: Conducted in-depth analyses of user behavior and metrics to guide strategic product improvements aligned with company objectives.- System monitoring and reliability: Integrated Azure Application Insights to monitor system health, quickly identify and resolve errors, and maintain consistent platform performance.We launched Forward’s alpha version in early 2022 and have continuously refined the platform based on user feedback.
