Leading and Designing MAKOCI (Multi-Agents Knowledge Oriented Cyber infrastructure) project, a GIS cloud application to collect and consume all kinds of geospatial Web services in Taiwan (http://isdss.makoci.com). - Developing MAKOCI application. During the implementation, I carried out the following activities: (1) developing user interfaces, (2) designing main functionalities of MAKOCI,(3) implementing JavaScript API, and(4) using ArcGIS Server, SuperGIS Server, and GeoServer to publish GIS web services.- Building a Web based public awareness (crowd sourcing) application for watershed management, including following activities: (1) designing the framework of the application,(2) using Google Maps JavaScript API, Google Documents, and jQuery technologies to implement the whole application. - Building a Web based environmental indicator application for evaluating suitable places for locating sensors to monitor air quality using ArcGIS Server 9.3, including the following inputs: (1) designing the framework of the application,(2) using ArcGIS Server to implement a model to calculate the best locations for sensors to monitor air quality, and (3) using Google Maps JavaScript API, and jQuery technologies to implement the whole application.- Building a Web based application for integrating GIS Web services (e.g. WMS and WFS) with online spatial analysis functions by ArcGIS Server 9.3, including the following contributions: (1) designing the framework of the application,(2) using GeoServer to publish shape files into OGC WFS and WMS services, (3) using ArcGIS Server to implement a model to convert WFS into shape file and excute spatial query, and(4) using Google Maps JavaScript API, and jQuery technologies to implement the whole application.
