- Ensure that product adheres to Security Policies [i.e. 62443 (IACS) and related NIST-SP-800 (SCADA)] via traceability of test to design, design to security requirements.- Guides development process to secure firmware (i.e. secure boot, storage) and also user interfaces (webserver on devices, third party and PC applications)- Define methods of Defense in Depth (DID) in for Network Segmentation and Security via recommendations for (DMZ)/IDS/IPS and protocol security (i.e. TLS).- Define and review security measures for Data Security (At rest - encryption - both symmetric and asymmetric), (In Transit - TLS) and (In Use - Plain Text protection measures).- Interface to penetration test team to translate product security to test plans (validated with tools i.e. binwalk, burpsuite, metaspolit)- Develop potential device network environment via docker containers to test security aspects.- Perform Threat Modelling together with development team via MITRE framework.- Inform and Communicate to stake-holders (internal and external) to define team's backlog and uphold technical commitments.- Audit vendor compliance to security processes in development, hardware, software, testing, physical environment via SLAs (Service Level Agreements).

March 1st, 2016 to August 1st, 2018Toyota Team SOC Application Architect (Leading team size of 10)- Understand customer requirements- Implemented cyber security modules for SMS encryption, over the air commands for vehicle operations- Implemented certificate management (PKI) and also OCSP stapling for firmware module(s)- Trouble-shoot firmware and security related issues with customer (Toyota)- Design and implemented support for encryption/decryption module based on customer specification- Responsible for ensuring compliance of coding standards to MISRA and CERT C.August 2018 to June 2022- Telematics Platform Lead for Singapore leading a team of 7.- Support and debug MNO based 3G/4G issues.- Performed vulnerability risk assessments via code reviews on platform and product code which can lead to loss of availability and exposure of confidential information.- Support and review infrastructure related secure storage issues like Trust Zone, etc.- Responsible to understanding and debugging security related boot up issues (i.e. secure boot).

1]. Responsible for developing CPS [Customer Radio Programming Software] from Oct 2003 to Mid 20042]. Transitioned into Firmware Team in 2005 and became a systems integrator helping firmware team with daily builds and debugging.3]. Transitioned into role of RTOS architect in 2006 and worked on the Nucleus Operating system. Developed scheduling software to track down system wide issues with regards to preemption, dead-locks, crashes and etc.4]. Deployed system level changes for memory [e.g partition pools] to replace heap based system currently used in system. Successfully migrated the Matrix radio project into partition pools in 2006.5]. Worked on other radio projects like Phoenix to learn existing Motorola LMR protocols such as TYPE II and also was technical team lead for Signaling in 2009 for this project.6]. In 2010, transitioned to Paradise project and moved to Platfom Lead role for Linux Introduction to Motorola Radio Products. Was part of the BSP bring-up team and successfully brought up the platform and migrated the system into the new environment with the use of LOSAL/OSAL [Operating system abstraction layer] design, incorporating priority schemes inherited from legacy operating system.7].In 2011 and 2012, was part of core team in Paradise Project to ensure successfull delivery of project and lead a team comprising 10 engineers under the scope of Technical OS Lead.

1]. Worked on WARIS Universal Tuner to tune analog Motorola radios in 1997-1999.2]. Developed and deployed Windows based software to support Motorola radio products globally.3]. Selected for global rotation program in 1999 to 2000 and relocated to Schaumburg, IL.4]. Familiar with Windows DDK (Device Driver Development Kit) and VxDs (device drivers).4]. Worked on repeater based stations software as part of local infrastructure team [FSP, Field Service Protocol] which was a Unix based telnet utility for users to log in and do servicing for base stations.5]. Also selected for job rotation to Toronto, Canada to work on Korea High Speed Rail project up till March of 2001.
