As a plant pathologist, I aim to bridge the gap between research and real world agriculture through extension and outreach to farmers and to develop eco-friendly and sustainable disease management strategies to enhance agriculture and food production. The impact of pathogenic organisms has posed a threat to agricultural production and food security. My job role at FarmSmarter has strengthen my abilities in disease identification, biocontrol and cultural measures for disease management. I am enthusiastic about food security and means to enhance agricultural production while protecting the environment.
