Oversee daily operations through 9 employees across business development, member sales, operations and fitness departments, for four sites for Blue Cross Blue Shield of TX, OK, NM and IL (HCSC). Control Development of P&L, programs and membership. Opened facility in August of 2010 and was instrumental in the design phase and Grand Opening for all three centers. Work directly with client on a day to day operational basis.

Orangefield Texas

Responsible for teaching 8th grade Character Development class which included the building blocks for a well balanced life style. Taught 6th grade P.E. and Pre-K P.E on two different campuses and followed all State TEKS guidelines. Coaching responsibilities were as follows; Varsity and Jr. High Football, Varsity and Freshmen Basketball and Varsity and Jr. High Track.

Oversee daily operations through 78 employees across accounting, business development, sales, operations, programming, fitness, and tennis departments. Manage profit and loss of a $2.1 million full-amenity health club. Control development of the annual budget, organizational communications, membership development and retention, customer service, staffing, and operational performance in addition to performance measurement and reporting. Supervise on-site housekeeping and maintenance.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

Managed overall operations through 106 employees across three fitness center sites for Texas Instruments (TI) employees and the local community located in Dallas, Plano, and Sherman, TX. Controlled profit and loss, forecasting, capital improvements, programs, and marketing of an operating budget in excess of $1.2 million. Collaborated across HealthFitness and TI in program development and strategies to promote the organization.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

Managed a $1.4 million budget and 25 employees across housekeeping, maintenance, front desk, kids’ club, massage and fitness floor

Dallas/Fort Worth Area Highland Park

Managed all strategic marketing, promotion, and fund-raising for the youth sports activities. Recruited and supervised more than 50 contractors across the sports organization and 200 volunteers.

San Antonio, Texas Area

Designed and implemented challenging youth sports and activities across the Hill Country region. Planned and monitored all youth programs with teams of over 20 referees, 10 day camp staff, youth coaches and 150 volunteers. I arranged all field and gym events for camps and field days. Developed and managed the $100,000 annual program budget and participated in annual fund-raising campaign.
