In an effort to inhibit the health effects that children and others face due to lead-based paint used in residential structures built before 1978, the City of Tuscaloosa is implementing a Lead Based Paint Hazard Abatement Program. The initial goal of this program is to reach out and educate the population of potential hazards that residents face due to the possibility of lead based paint hazards in their homes. Those property owners that respond and qualify for the program, will then allow their homes and children to be tested for the presence of lead. The properties that contain lead paint hazards will then be abated and renovated at no cost the the homeowner or tenant.

Chip Cates, PG has been raising AKC registered Labrador Retrievers for over 30 years in West Alabama. For the past 15 years, Rockcastle Labs have primarily bred, raised, and trained fox red labs. We have largely utilized our dogs for upland bird hunting such as doves and quail. However, previous clients have used our dogs for duck hunting, upland birding, and family companions. These dogs love to play, fetch, and swim, and they are great around children.

Founded in 2011, we utilize our years of training from the practices of farming, mining, disaster recovery, construction and conservationism to help those in need. Create geologic cross-sections, perform mineral evaluations and write hydrogeologic evaluations for landfills. Manage wetland delineation/ mitigation, so-remote mineral evaluations and asbestos projects.

Write NEPA required documentation, Environmental Assessments, Environmental Impact Statements, Brownfield grant proposals, SPCC Plans, NPDES BMP’s, and regulatory agency permit applications. Perform Corridor Studies, Phase I ESA’s, and wetlands delineation/ mitigation.
