31 year career with JP Morgan and its predecessors back to Manufactures Hanover Trust when I joined their credit program fresh with my Babson MBA in hand. I successfully developed as a middle market lender, client manager / business developer and VP / team leader. My focus was on the $10 - $500million sales sized companies with some specialization in the advertising and legal professions. Later managed areas of credit training, then risk management controls, audit compliance, change management, client service and financial administration in the middle market. Transitioned over to the Private Bank at the JP Morgan merger, and became a business manager covering teams in four offices with 600 clients holding $20 billion assets under management and generating $95million revenues.In 2006 the business managers’ position was eliminated as functions were shifted to centralized services and market managers. I transitioned to managing a team providing sales support, risk management and client service for a lower tier JP Morgan asset management group. While I initially thought this was a great growth opportunity, it did not play to my strengths, and I officially transitioned out this past January. I am now looking to get back to where I had my greatest success: on the revenue generating / client and sales management side of financial services. Private Banking in the $5 million+ market segment would best fit my skills and experience in credit, investments, sales and client and team management. Sales and team management in the commercial mid corporate market would also be a good match.
