I am currently employed as the Assistant Vice President of Loss Prevention for Members 1st Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Mechanicsburg, PA. Members 1st F.C.U. is a $4 billion credit union located throughout Dauphin, Cumberland, York, Lebanon, Adams, Perry and Lancaster counties and serves over 300,000 membersI am a (20) year retired member of the Pennsylvania State Police and served in numerous assignments, including patrol, as a traditional criminal investigator and as an undercover investigator with the Organized Crime Unit. Following retirement from the Pennsylvania State Police in 2000, I continued my professional career as the Corporate Operations Manager for a national alarm company and possess expertise in the area of physical security, including the use and deployment of alarm and electronic surveillance technology. In 2003, I accepted the position with Members 1st Federal Credit Union and oversee the credit union’s physical security, fraud loss recovery and business continuity programs. I lead a team of ten (12) security and fraud professionals who administer the credit union’s physical security, business continuity programs, investigate fraudulent activities and develop fraud education and prevention programs. I am considered an industry expert in the field of physical security and fraud investigation and have been a highlighted speaker for the Pa. Credit Union Association and Pa. Credit Union Chapters, the International Auditors Association and other groups at various training and conference events and have been featured in a number of financial industry articles in various trade publications such as the Credit Union Journal, Credit Union Times, Security Info Watch, Security Director News, Security Systems News and Security Dealer & Integrator.
