Therefore optimizing a long-term monitoring program can yield significant cost savings to clients. Greenstar offers clients a clear strategy for LTM optimization which includes an in-depth review of existing data and negotiated reductions in sampling frequency and techniques for cost reduction.  Hydrogeologic Investigations – Greenstar offers clients the ability to characterized large and complex sites with focus on remediation and reducing long-term project costs. Greenstar is experienced with investigating complx sites such as confined and unconsolidated aquifers,fractured bedrock and sites with significant groundwater and surface water interaction. Remediation – Site remediation is a major focus of Greenstar. Greenstar has completed groundwater remediation using in-situ chemical oxidation, chemical reduction using zero valence iron, soil vapor extraction and groundwater pump, and monitored natural attenuation, bio-augmentation, and passive reactive barriers.  Innovative Technologies – Greenstar staff specialize in offering innovative technologies to clients as a way to save money and time throughout the site cleanup process.  Groundwater Modeling – Greenstar offers clients highly skilled groundwater modeling staff. Use of groundwater models traditionally has been reserved for large and complex sites. However, the recent development of specialized software has made modeling much more cost effective.  Ground Penetrating Radar – Greenstar owns and operates ground penetrating radar (GPR) equipment to locate underground tanks, lines, top of bedrock and other subsurfacefeatures.
