I was brought on to manage the Orlando office, which eventually became the center of the Florida Systems activity. During this period, I designed and built many broadcast facilities, among them Telefutura, Spanish Broadcast Systems, UCF Motion Capture and Studio 500, Orange TV, WJXT-TV, and WPLG-TV studios. Additionally, the Technical Services division began servicing the cruiseline industry with repairs and field service headed from Orlando.
Supervised Charlotte, Orlando, and Miami offices for HR, servicing feature films, music videos and commercials with rental packages of lighting, grip and sales of expendables. Movies serviced include "Dumb and Dumberer", "Charleys War", "Off the Map", "Bad boys II", "Fast and Furious II", "Ladder 49", and Academy Award Winners " Monster", and "Ray". Responsibilities included negotiations with vendors and clients, maintaining inventory control, and company morale. Mentored several employees who are now rising on their own, but at the time were floundering. Leadership!
