Chip Sherman is a business professional who has had diverse career experiences since graduating from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Politics and Government. Working at Grassroots Campaigns, Inc. he was one of the original Field Organizers for the Progressive Voter Network; then was promoted to Canvass Director where he built a staff of over 30 that raised over a quarter of a million dollars for the Democratic National Committee during the 2006 mid-term elections. After his stint with Grassroots Campaigns, Chip made the transition into business moving back to his home state of Ohio to work at Dawson Insurance, Inc. During 8 years with Dawson Insurance, he grew a book of business made up of property and casualty, Professional, and cyber liability insurance polices; started the Jewelers program for the company; and oversaw the small-business unit. Building off of his experience in insurance, Chip co-founded an online retail meat and seafood company, called Red Ribbon Meats, LLC. His day-to-day activities included sales, accounting, and logistics. Currently, Chip is a franchisee of Tide Cleaners, developing and operating locations in northeast Ohio. Since 2018, DMS Retail Enterprises, LLC opened 15 Tide Cleaners in Northeast Ohio. Chip Sherman resides in Bay Village, OH.
