Responsible for oversight of Facilities, Sustaining Engineering, Planning, Production, Procurement and Distribution / Supply Chain. Recruited to focus on implementing change elements of a non-performing manufacturing department. Focused on Materials Management, International Supply Chain, Domestic Procurement, Logistics, Budgeting, Cost Control and Quality. Recruited staff internally and externally to build an International Team to support both Solatube China and Solatube USA. Direct and support both teams, and foster an organizationally empowered operations team. Also directly managed the Facilities team, which was responsible for multiple locations and distribution centers both domestically and in Asia. Responsible for sixty-five (65) independent dealers across the US, in regard to inventory management and over all budgeting for each unit. Achieved increased productivity without adding to direct labor. Net margins improved 7% on average over 3yrs. Provide strategic oversight and direction across three (3)manufacturing plants. Develop and maintained departmental and operational budgets. Through Process mapping and implementing efficiency techniques direct labor is now only 2.7% of yearly sales. This same strategy is now being employed at the facility in Asia. Took lead responsibilities with the Sustaining Engineering Team, in order to design, build and source tooling for injection molding both US and international. Devised methods to conserve cash, orchestrated strategic staff reductions, liquidated excess inventory and renegotiated vendor payment plans. This was essential to the recent economic downturn in domestic sales.  Reduced overtime by 34%, and increased productivity by 19% while maintaining excellent labor relations.  Facilitated migration from product development to full commercialization of three major product lines achieving gross revenues in excess of $6.2 million within a 3 year period.
