His forte is in business development, leveraging his network and contacts acquired over the past 30 years. Mr. Van Vurst also has a competitive and successful “team” life away from the office as a winning sports car driver. With multiple national championships under his belt, he has had personal experience in managing collaboration among peer level experts in order to win in a highly competitive, data and science-dependent environment. As a two time brain tumor survivor and a catastrophic near-fatal accident survivor as a teenager, he leads the Company with a unique understanding of the patients’ perspective.
