Started working at Roosevelte Raceway during my senior year of high school in 1974. Upon graduating I worked as a groom for David Dunkley from 1974-1976-. From 1977-1978 I was the second trainer for Empire City Stables which was David Dunkley's racing stable. We raced primarily at Roosevelte, Yonkers, and the Meadowlands. !n 1978 I started my own stable at Freehold Raceway in New Jersey. In 1979 I brought my stable to New York where I operated until retiring for good in 1994. Around 1990 I started working in my fathers grocery business on Fire Island. I managed the Saltaire Market as a partner until 2005 at which time I became the owner. I continued running the market until October of 2012 when Hurricane Sandy destroyed my business. I am currently working on selling the property.
