The veteran attorney has served as legal counsel for major media defendants, including Oprah Winfrey, Dr. Phil, and Warner Brothers, Inc. and secured several precedent-setting cases, including one involving the TransAmerican Press that established the First Amendment right of journalists to protect confidential sources.Chip’s practice focuses on civil trials, arbitration, commercial litigation, catastrophic litigation, intellectual property matters, breach of contract, and First Amendment issues.
