I am a Board Certified Construction Lawyer with a lifetime of experience in and around the construction industry. As managing partner of Bachara Construction Law Group, I represent clients including public and private owners, developers, contractors, trade contractors, sureties and insurers in construction disputes, including construction defect claims. A certified general contractor with a degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida, I earned my law degree from Mercer University and have practiced exclusively in the area of construction law since that time. I am an American Arbitration Association-approved Arbitrator, a certified Circuit Court Mediator, and currently serve on the Fourth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. With decades of collective experience in every aspect of construction law, Bachara Construction Law Group handles every type of construction dispute, ranging from payment disputes to bid protests, delay claims, claims of defective design or construction and insurance coverage disputes. We also regularly negotiate and draft contracts on behalf of our clients. Whether the project involves industrial, infrastructure, hospitality, healthcare, commercial or residential construction, our firm brings a powerful combination of industry knowledge, courtroom experience and commitment to every case. While we have been fortunate to achieve various forms of professional and peer recognition, my colleagues and I believe the best measure of our success is the longevity of our client relationships and the frequency with which clients return to us for representation.
