As EVP, co-led and co-directed a complete repositioning of the firm, from effectively a one product (U.S. Large Cap Value “LCV”) investment management firm to a global, multi-product investment management firm. • Redesigned “retail” sales plan which generated an increase of over $2 billion AUM within 18 months. The redesign was critical to offset AUM decline of performance challenged LCV product and help secure long-term firm viability.• Led and oversaw (with P&L responsibility) a sales/client portfolio management service team to identify profitable growth opportunities and support a broad product line: (Equities: U.S. Value [Large Cap, All-Cap, Mid-cap, Small Cap] Global, International, Japan, Preferred and Fixed Income: [U.S. Core, Intermediate, High-Yield and Multi-Asset]). • Developed, implemented and managed a SOX aware and FINRA compliant investor relations program, while also leading the creation and management of operating protocols to support increased complexity of a scaled business and account types. Account types included: separate accounts, mutual fund (“40 act”), CIT, UIT, Partnerships, as well as offshore vehicles including UCIT. • Traveled globally to conduct quarterly portfolio reviews and personally manage major client relationships.
