About Chip Cooper

Chip is a native of Bloomington, IN where he earned a BS in Finance from Indiana University and, later, an MBA from Wake Forest University. He is Six Sigma certified and brings over 25 years of executive finance experience through progressive roles for SPX Corporation, Cardinal Health, Stanley Black & Decker, NASCAR, Precision Castparts Corporation and Communication Services Inc. In 2016, Chip founded BizCentric - a leading advisory and fractional CFO firm to family-owned and VC-backed enterprises. Currently Chip leads startup govtech firm, Civiceye, as their Chief Financial and Administrative Officer.During Chip’s tenure with Fortune 500 and privately held companies, he is credited with leading numerous productivity initiatives, implementing process standardization and controls, and facilitating change management including active and lead roles in 30+ mergers, acquisitions, start-ups and divestitures, as well as championing two ERP conversions. Chip also served as the financial adviser to CSI for their sale to Dycom Industries in Nov 2010 and was a lead contributor and advisor to the $4B divestiture of SPX Corporation and SPX FLOW in 2015.
