Commanded a team of 45 officers and noncommissioned officers to organize, equip, train, and operate in combat with a newly formed Iraqi Motor Transport Regiment of over 800 officers and soldiers in Iraq's Anbar Province. Completed the unit build and transferred to Iraqi control in one year.

Fort Riley, Ks

Reorganized an organization of 518 personnel and over 200 vehicles following deployment to prepare to deploy to Iraq again in 1 year. Transitioned the unit to a training organization and two separate security organizations in 6 months. Supervised maintenance and motorpool operations for a fleet of over 200 tracked and wheeled vehicles and a budget of $2.5 million, not including personnel or facilities.

Fort Riley, Ks

Coordinated the efforts of the installation and division staffs toward long term planning. Managed the priorities list for Major Construction Army and other appropriations with long term impacts for the ability of Fort Riley to support training and readiness of Army units. Expanded the training airspace available for Joint training at Fort Riley and developed and deployed the Balanced Scorecard.

Provided expert military advice to a 700 soldier full time Saudi Arabian military organization in training, readiness, logistics, and maintenance. Managed contract maintenance and warranty support to the organization’s 200 plus vehicles.
