I manage a department of eight instructors. Responsibilities in this role include global delivery scheduling for internal and third party instructors, direct management responsibilities for the internal instructors as well as departmental budget management. In addition I collaborate with internal departments for curriculum development, course approval and piloting testing and education operations issues that affect the delivery of our courses.

Solution Consultants are responsible for project implementation, management of people and process, as well as strategic and tactical communications on all levels. Subject matter expertise include: ITAM strategy, business process re-engineering, implementation best practices, Software license management.

As an Architect in the ITAM Practice group I consulted with customers to help them better manage their IT infrastructures from a contractual, physical and financial basis. Deliverables included process consulting, current state analysis, workshop sessions, future state design and product implementation and interface design. In this role, I aided customers in the achievement of their overall goal to enhance asset optimization from both a process and financial impact view point.

As an SE I provided asset management and technical assistance to the sales force on an international level, including technical and business resource for sales calls and demonstrations, reparation of RFP responses, on-site presentations, internal training on new features and market impactI frequently represented the company at conferences and trade show, presenting the company’s product offerings as well as general industry information to prospects and customers. I had the opportunity to provide product training to customers as well.

As a pre-sales engineer at Janus Technologies I met with customers, learned about their Asset Management plans and difficulties and demonstrated how the Argis solution could work in their environment to enhance their ITAM initiatives.

At BB&T I researched, defined and implemented the bank's asset management function. The responsibilities of this department included setting asset management policy, tracking hardware/software costs over time for the development of cost models, providing compliance auditing and the contracting for, procurement and management of the full compliment of IT and telecom assets and services.
