Throughout my undergraduate and graduate careers at the University of Southern Mississippi, I have taken on a variety of roles and responsibilities to better prepare myself to transition into the professional sports industry. Within these roles, I have gained experience in: - Sport Sales - Marketing- Social Media Management- Facility and Event Management- Live Broadcast and ProductionAs a part of the Southern Miss Esports Marketing and Design team, I enabled multiple social media channels to gain over 250 followers over a few months as well as tripling and quadrupling engagement rates in the latter half of the season. One of my main focus points was increasing the notoriety of Southern Miss Esports across the campus and Hattiesburg, which led to a distinct increase in the amount of physical and digital visitors the program had.Throughout my time serving Southern Miss Athletics as a Facility and Events Intern, I had the opportunity to plan, host, and perform multiple athletic events and sponsored promotions. Many of these events took place during football games, with additional, smaller promotions taking place during baseball and basketball games. Within this position, I was one of the front-facing individuals that would interact with fans on a consistent basis to solve their problems, assist their requests, and provide the highest quality experience possible to fans, both home and visiting.My most influential trait has always been my positivity within the workplace. I have always been able to remain calm during high stress situations, and I always want to be someone that my associates can look towards for motivation assistance when the job gets tough.
