As a Manager for the Multimedia group , I have set up the BSP & Firmware competency center to deliver various niche products. We have delivered the software for the first Android based TV for European market. Apart from leading the group, I am also having the additional role of Scrum Master for 3 scrum teams.My responsibilities are :- Nurturing new team, augmenting resource from external vendors, grooming the team to adapt to latest technology as per organizational goals.- Aligning the business group's competency road-map as per product road map and organizational goals.- Competency Management of the Multimedia and firmware group- Responsible for feature-list in media playback, internet streaming, adaptive streaming with Digital Rights Management, Multi-room client and Take Away Display with DTCP-IP protection etc.- Supplier Management for SoC supplier like Sigma Design, Marvel, MediaTek and third party software stack suppliers.
