Designs accepted and ready for release.- Training received: NXE vacuum introduction theory, UGNX introduction/advanced, IP/EC

At JBT Aerotech, after initial training in UG NX6.0 and Teamcenter v8, currently working on projects related to various ground support equipment products such as cargo loaders, aircraft deicer and aircraft tower. My job responsibilities here consist of:• Creating UG CAD models and drawings (new/revisions) for components in loaders/deicers or tow trucks• Processing Engineering Change Notices(ECN’s) and Engineer Change Request(ECR) using Teamcenter v8• Conduct searches for new components based on engineering specifications or requirements• Assisting with performing various quality assurance tests on different products

Here I was assigned a project to develop a launching and retracting mechanism for a manually portable bridge over 18m long crevasse with low temperature conditions (up to -30 F) at high altitude regions. •Divided the Project into three stages viz. material selection, design (SolidWorks) and analysis (ANSYS)•Presented an optimum design of the mechanism and tested it using Finite Element Analysis

I worked at the VRDE lab of DRDO as a summer intern under the guidance of Dr. Sulakhe, Scientist 'F'. This position gave me an opportunity to have a firsthand experience of a working organization and also to work in a team. Here i gained knowledge of putting theoretical design concepts to actual use. As an intern I was part of the design team learning and simultaneously assisting in designing and prototyping of a large remote controlled plane with a wing span of 2.1 m. Here i also researched about different engines for powering RC planes considering thrust, fuel efficiency etc. I also carried out test of engines using dynamo-meters and thrust cradles

- Took the initiative to repair a faulty tapping machine and designed/manufactured (ProE) functional cam part- Introduced this repaired machine into the production line: 20% decrease in prod cost and 35% in prod time
