These agreements were critical to a high-level project to move from expensive on-premise PBX telephony to a Microsoft Teams cloud based telephony solution. The Teams phone project financial model was very complicated with funding coming from several different areas, most significantly, the new Cisco Flex EA that was being negotiated at the same time, and dependent on changing or terminating other services. Chirag’s commitment to working through those complexities under a tight deadline was critical to getting things done before the deadline so that we did not lose significant discounted pricing. We could not have completed it without him. He did the same with our AppSpace initiative under similar timelines restrictions. He recently completed a renewal of an MTS agreement that is also required to support the Teams Phone initiative and is currently working on a RFQ for conference room refresh equipment. And most recently, again working under strict timelines, he facilitated a RFQ process with several Audio/Video integrators for new Collaborative Technologies for Unum’s conference rooms. The challenge of this initiative was completing the process, selecting a vendor and processing invoices prior to the end of the fiscal year in order to accomplish 2022 budgeting targets set by IT leadership.
