I have completed my post graduation in Disaster Management and Risk Reduction from IIT Guwahati, specializing in the intersection of environmental science, sustainable development, and disaster risk management. My research projects included studying Glacial Dynamics and Sustainable Hydrological Resources in the Arunachal Himalaya using Remote Sensing & ArcGIS, analyzing Glacier Lake Outburst Flood (GLOF) risks with 2D HEC-RAS modeling. Also associated with the project of examining the role of financing in achieving sustainable development goals during disaster recovery, and assessing the impact of the Bhuj earthquake. Additionally, designed emergency evacuation backpacks utilizing ergonomic anthropometric data. My B.Tech projects focused on developing Solid Oxide Fuel Cells using Ansys and designing a chainless cycle using bevel gear technology. I have training in Python and am skilled in software such as ArcGIS, HEC RAS, ENVY, AutoCAD, and CATIA. I have taken advanced courses in remote sensing, GIS, hazard monitoring, climate change, and green fiscal policy. I am passionate about leveraging technology and sustainable practices to mitigate disaster risks and enhance community resilience.
