Hello, My name is Chisa Nishimura and just joined LinkedIn. As an International Affairs major at Temple University and co-leader of the TUJ Community Outreach Student Association, I have developed strong research, writing, presentation skills, and have fostered both local and global communities.Receiving full scholarship has shown me the true impact of educational funding and support. I am particularly passionate about empowering refugees and women in particular through education, giving them the same sense of hope and opportunity that I have been fortunate to experience. Regarding my passion for community development through education, teaching English to children in Cambodia online as a high school volunteer was a turning point that deepened my interest in International Affairs. It made me realize the importance of cross cultural communication and access to education in empowering communities.
