Understand how drilling fluids and waste management systems influence each other, and the employee is capable of performing advanced troubleshooting and extraordinary maintenance on ES technologies. Responsible for validating all critical data required to complete daily reports. Responsible for monitoring, reporting and maintaining appropriate inventory at the well site. Perform fundamental drilling fluid testing and able to properly calibrate testing equipment as necessary. Track and manage discharge volumes (i.e. skips, ISOs, etc.) Complete Standard Equipment Maintenance (STEM) reporting requirements. Complete reporting requirements for location specific equipment (i.e. Hi Side, Cutting Re-Injection (CRI), High Pressure Pumps (HPP), etc.) Calculate solids control efficiencies and make appropriate recommendations that will improve or support changes in drilling operations. Describe local discharge regulations and what additional considerations must be taken to support the operation. Complete an accurate well recap report.

Operating a pipe wrench, alone or together with the other members of the crew. Performing maintenance on the hand tools, i.e.: hammers, pipe wrenches. Working on the floor while the Operator runs tubing or rods in or out of the wellbore Housekeeping duties include ensuring that the rig floor, oil company location and rig and equipment is clean and organized, i.e.: sweeping, scrubbing, sorting, organizing and throwing out garbage Following instructions from Operator and/or the Derrick hand Providing the physical strength to lift, carry, move, slide, transfer, push, pull or drag pieces of equipment on and around the service rig and equipment. Performing maintenance to the service rig equipment as requested Locating and delivering any piece of equipment that the senior workers require. Helping wherever needed. Watching and maintaining proper well control characteristics, the rate of fluid circulation and the preventative maintenance program. Guiding the pipe off the racking platform while tripping in and out of the hole. Obtaining and implementing instructions from Driller and Rig Manager. Helping to identify potential equipment problems. Rigging up pump, pump lines and accumulator lines properly. Assisting in cleaning and painting as required by the Driller. Assisting in moving the rig, rigging up and rigging out. Listen and watch when others are showing and demonstrating servicing operations, and asking questions as required.
