SolyPlus GmbH 2024The Schleswig-Holstein-based company SolyPlus GmbH has found a simple biopolymer-based approach to healing chronic, difficult-to-heal wounds and tested it in anecdotal or familial cases. In Germany, between 30 and 50 thousand limb amputations occur every year, mainly due to loss of control or inflammation of these wounds. Using a special form of wound treatment with suitable biopolymers (e.g. hyaluronic acid), wounds can be healed from the wound bed in an extraordinarily short time of just a few weeks. Conventional medicine cannot do this today. At the same time, the patient can be mobilized. We do not need to emphasize the fact that further suffering is avoided for those affected and their families and relatives. The economic consequences of non- or unsuccessful treatment are also of an alarming magnitude. Later, the approaches developed by SolyPlus can certainly be combined with conventional medical developments for the benefit of patients.SolyPlus assumes that significant progress can also be made in the treatment of the large family of burn wounds and decubitus wounds using our approaches. There is a big public interest in such developments. SolyPlus is looking for investors and partners for clinical development. We have been selected as a disruptive technology in Germany and the order for validation has been completed https://www.sprind.org/en/articles/solyplus/Bundesagentur SPIND , Leipzig (Bundesrepublik Deutschland)Ansprechpartner SPRIND : Bundesagentur für SprunginnovationenOur topic is "Open wounds"https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=shared&v=5U0OtqCWpPgLooking for investors for disruptive medical product: €8 million for development. 🚀 Open to various options. 🤝

Disruptive Technology For The Innovative Use Of BiopolymersSolyplus Gmbh Mar 2020 - PresentHaselund, Schleswig-Holstein, GermanyInnovationBiopolymers such as hyaluronic acid (HA) and chitosan are of great importance for cosmetic and medical applications. However, the potential of these substances has so far only been exploited to a limited extent because the technology for industrial processing was not available. If, for example, one tries to dissolve commercially available hyaluronic acid powder in water, depending on the molecule size mixture used, a highly viscous mass is formed from as little as 1 to 2%, which cannot be further processed industrially. This is also the reason why the hyaluronic acid content in common skin care cosmetic products hardly exceeds 1.5%.SolyPlus has overcome this bottleneck with its disruptive platform technology, which allows such and also other biopolymers to be converted from their powder form into so-called "smart materials" (microparticles, films, gels, hard solids) and then processed like wood or plastic. This opens the door to completely new products. Corresponding patents have already been granted in the USA and Europe as well as in India, and applications have also been filed in a number of economically strong countries. Patent protection guarantees sustainable competitive advantages. -
