My industry-transforming work in mortgage servicing during the housing crisis of 2008 helped thousands of US home owners facing foreclosure risk to retain their homes. During the pandemic years, I built community-focused tech solutions for a non-profit organization that helped renters and home owners in the State of Georgia obtain federal and state assistance easily and quickly to continue to keep their residences. There is an enduring passion for doing important work by working on important problems that links everything I've done in the last three decades, and it continues to influence the nature of work I do now.
