To be precise, I am in the Far East Panamax team where in I cater to the tonnage needs of the team specifically for commodities that are being transported from Australia/South Africa to India. Furthermore, my work involves negotiating the Time Charter Party with Owners/Operators/Brokers, managing vessel nominations, voyage planning and networking with our key clients. I am also involved in FFA transactions of the team in dry bulk market which is a means to protect ourselves against the inherent volatility of the freight rates, as well as trade a highly liquid and volatile market.
