A single summer changed my life. I enrolled in a C programming course during my 8th grade summer holidays to explore the coding realm. This introduced me to a completely new world that I quickly became passionate about and left me with a strong desire to pursue a career in information technology. I therefore chose computer science as my elective in high school and subsequently my field of study during my bachelor’s. My internship experiences during my undergrad and work experience following that enabled me to practically implement my learnings. As someone who is totally into taking on challenges, I love the process of coming up with solutions when faced with complex requirements. Time literally flies when it’s just me and my thoughts, analyzing the issue at hand and trying to chalk out the most efficient means to accomplish it. This is something that I’ve had in my past professional experiences and look forward to having at my future workplace as well. I also enjoy picking up new algorithms and leveraging them in building more robust solutions.During my undergraduate studies, I gained a theoretical understanding of Data Science and Machine Learning through courses such as Big Data Analytics and Data Mining. Seeking practical exposure and to further augment my skills, I enrolled as a MISM-BIDA student at Carnegie Mellon University. My aspiration is to integrate the knowledge I gain with my existing expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) to develop efficient and robust Machine Learning models that address real-world challenges.
