With over 12 years of research experience in molecular oncology, biochemistry, toxicology, and biotechnology, I am an Assistant Professor ( Research) at Stony Brook Medicine, where I work on identifying novel biomarkers and therapeutics for cancer. I also serve as a Senior Research Scientist at the same institution, leading a team of researchers in applying genomics and big data analysis to understand the molecular mechanisms of cancer stem cells and metastasis. I have a Ph.D. in Molecular Oncology from the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry, and I have completed the Applied Data Science Program from MIT Professional Education. I have published multiple papers in prestigious journals, and I have received several awards and honors, such as the Ph.D. fellowship from the German Excellence Initiative and the Travel Award for the 2nd Annual NIH-Funded Boot Camp on Big Data Training for Translational Omics Research. I am passionate about advancing the field of oncology and biotechnology, and I am committed to collaborating with other researchers and clinicians to translate scientific discoveries into clinical applications.
