Roles and Responsibilities:Finance, Accounting and Audit:• Revenue Recognition under US GAAP based on defined agreements.• Managed TB review & Closing of books of accounts of DIS with adherence to US GAAP.• Responsible for review of Balance Sheet Reconciliations within the prescribed corporate timelines.• Driven the I GAAP statutory Audit and US GAAP Audit in respect of all areas including owning the financials and maintaining the Stat books for Dell Group in India. • Managing in preparation of all financial Reports, Including Profit Loss Statement, Balance sheet, Statement of Cash flows, as well as yearend financial reports.• Responsible for driving Tax audit, Tax filling, TP filling for Dell Group (DIS, DIPL, F10) in India. • Responsible for finalizing year end Income tax provision and deferred tax and finalization for RTP. Corporate tax, Transfer pricing:• Individually managing the Tax accounting and tax controllership role for Dell group in India.• Responsible for on time computation, review of Advance Tax, tax provision and deferred tax.• Working with the Tax consultants to ensure completion of Income Tax, FBT and TP Assessments, Scrutiny within the prescribed statutory timelines.• Managed various complex Direct Tax and Transfer Pricing matters including MAP (Mutual Agreement Procedure) and DRP cases for service and manufacturing entity.• Coordinating with responsible accounting team members and delegating responsibility for providing the necessary details as required and adopting proper review mechanism to ensure the data flowing to department is true and correct.• Responsible for delivering on the requirement from the corporate tax team and Audit.• Driven the project on developing Global Tax tool from India I.
