Provided advice and guidance on the Moree Plains Shire Council (MPSC) Master Plan and Infrastructure Plan to:  Established site-specific working groups to include voices from the Indigenous community in Moree Town Centre, Southwest Moree and Pallamallawa, their Elders and the Local Aboriginal Land Councils in the Plans to meet future population growth to 2041 resulting from major regional infrastructure investment. Developed appropriate procedures to ensure informed consent is obtained for all working group members. Identified principles, opportunities, and recommendations for “Design with Country” to ensure the voice of the local Indigenous community is heard and incorporated into the Master Plan. Confirmed significant archeological sites in the identified areas with the working groups according to the procedures to inform the master planning process. Prepared an Indigenous Framework that acknowledges and protects Indigenous knowledge and artefacts, identifying their value and significance to all members of the broader community. Prepared and present a report and recommendations to the MPSC.

As the Chief Executive Officer and Principal of the Australian School of Accounting (ASA), Chivonne was responsible for achieving the highest standards in student care and equity; excellence in teaching and learning; innovation in course development and delivery; and industry and employer focus to equip graduates to achieve their goals. Chivonne ensured the professional knowledge and skills gained through flexible and innovative approaches to learning and development at the ASA were aligned to industry needs, and ensured graduates are the preferred choice for employers. Chivonne maintained academic quality and the reputation of the ASA as part of her overall responsibility for managing the School into the future.

Academic Board is the principal academic body in the University and is responsible to Council for the maintenance of high standards in teaching and research. As Vice-President of Academic Board Chivonne provided academic leadership within the University, and in relation to academic governance responsibilities and functions. Chivonne demonstrated an understanding and respect for Monash University values and strategic directions through her strong sense of collegiality and the ability to foster positive and creative links between senior academic and administrative staff of the University.

Chivonne conducted innovative research, and its publication in appropriate mediums, undertaking a significant role in research projects including, the leadership of research teams and supervision of postgraduate research students. Chivonne led the development of educational policy and curriculum development in project management, coordinated the project management specialist course offerings, and contributed to teaching at all levels. Chivonne fostered the growth and development of project management research across the University, and undertook a strategic leadership role relevant to project management academic offerings. Chivonne conducted collaborative research within the academy and with industry and community, contributing to the professional aspects of the discipline of project management.

Chivonne developed and delivered subjects based on practice-oriented learning through ensuring material was framed by current research. This approach encompassed the shifts in the practice of project management through actual ‘live’ case studies and guest ‘conversations’ with practising project managers. An integrated exposure to professional practice was encouraged through dynamic and multifaceted modes of practice-oriented education to equip graduates for life-long learning. The re-accreditation of the program by the Global Accreditation Centre demonstrated the rigorous approach to international best practice in program content, delivery, and student learning outcomes. Chivonne’s research agenda is practically driven to deliver insightful and innovative solutions to current national and international problems. The outcomes of her research were recognised with an international award, and have been published and presented in local and international publications and forums. Chivonne contributed to UTS through several research centres and faculty boards, and through the establishment of an industry advisory board and student engagement program.

Increased the business revenue from $4 million to $8.2 million in two years through developing, implementing and providing guidance to the YHG Management team and Practice Managers to increase the patient/practitioner ratio and income stream with various marketing and public relations projects.Identified and managed strategic alliance opportunities for YHG with Blackmore’s, Grand United, Innovations and Spa Chakra.Developed procedures and guidelines for the YHG to manage the various projects to maximise the return on the investment in resources against the budget and success criteria.

AMP AsiaManaged the development and implementation of the Indian marketing strategy through several projects with specific success criteria. In a seven month period business increased from a zero base to 5,437 insurance policies through the partnership with India’s third largest petrochemical company the Sanmar Group. Attributed to this growth were several major advertising and promotional projects involving the use of Steve Waugh as AMP’s Indian brand Ambassador and other above and below the line marketing projects.Managed six highly sensitive business meetings between visiting Asian Government ministers, such as Japan’s Prime Minister Koizumi, and other strategic business leaders, to secure AMP’s relationships in Asian private and public business and government sectors.

Managed the launch and public relations program for the first Lend Lease Asian joint venture in financial services. This was with the third largest Indonesian Bank, the Sinar Mas Group.Managed the re-branding project from the MLC institutional investment product portfolio to the Lend Lease brand using a unique device in advertising, media, promotions and all internal and external communications material.Managed a program to establish and build relationships between senior Lend Lease executives, including the Chairman, with over 1000 major institutional clients. The program also included the communication of investment performance and the many complex legislative changes occurring in the Industry with this key stakeholder group.Managed the first media training program for the CEO of Lend Lease Corporate Financial Services and eight direct reports to ensure appropriately trained spokespeople were available to the relevant media with the aim of increasing the profile of the business to the target market which was measured regularly against agreed success criteria.Managed the development and implementation of the first teleworking program for the Lend Lease group effectively reducing the 28% exit ratio of senior employees due to lack of flexible work practices to 12% in the first 12 months.
