Program Evaluation Coordinator
Current• Lead the planning, development, and oversight of large-scale evaluations and performance management of employment programs• Author memos (decision/option notes, approval memos) to support government decision-making• Brief senior executives on analyses, options, and findings • Develop technical resource, evaluation methodology documents, monitoring and evaluation frameworks, and implementation work plans• Provide team leadership to ministry colleagues to coordinate evaluation planning and implementation through working groups and committees• Provide strategic technical advice on the evaluation and performance management framework of programs• Collaborate with ministry colleagues and external stakeholders to build shared understanding and consensus on evaluation frameworks, processes, use of findings, and next-steps• Develop and maintain partnerships with ministry colleagues, sector stakeholders, and vendors• Liaise with vendors to provide technical and administrative oversight on contracts• Build the ministry’s internal capacity in evaluation and on using evidence to inform decision-making• Implement and promote accepted evaluation standards, including TBS’ evaluation framework, Getting to Outcomes and policy development framework, Our Best Advice
