Within my role at Dalberg, I provide strategic advisory support to public, private, and philanthropic sector clients to drive positive social impact across diverse sectors, including digital inclusion, youth education, and global health. The FSM Alliance set the agenda, champions and promotes the development of inclusive sanitation approaches with a focus on faecal sludge management and non-sewered sanitation to ensure human health and dignity. My work with the FSM Alliance centered around the planning and implementation of the bi-annual FSM conference including development and management of the program budget, fundraising, vendor management and liaising with an executive committee to ensure overarching program goals are met. Beyond that, I led the development of regional programs with our various partners and stakeholders to promote the growth of FSM and non-sewered sanitation sector.

As Project Manager, I served as a consultant to the African Ministers' Council on Water (AMCOW). I supported and oversaw a range of activities in relation to the AfricaSan5 meeting, which took place in Cape Town, South Africa. AfricaSan is an AMCOW initiative to prioritize sanitation and hygiene in Africa. It was planned in conjunction with FSM5 and external stakeholders such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Faecal Sludge Management international committee. My main responsibilities included managing a cross-functional group of stakeholders spanning the public, private and non-governmental sectors. I succeeded in implementing structure and improving processes related to creating program and content development, event work plans, and tracking deliverables. This included implementing a content management system, creating and managing a volunteer program, tracking budgetary changes and developing a work plan for key conference components. Following the conference, I drafted several reports providing qualitative and quantitative analysis for AMCOW and additional partners.

Destination Asia is the leading destination management company in Asia with full service operations in Thailand, Vietnam, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos. In my role as MICE account manager in our Beijing, China office, I developed, managed and implemented customized and innovative programs from inception to execution. I was responsible for a complex case load of programs including the oversight of corporate vendors, government premiers and 1 major client based at $2 million in annual revenue. In order to do so, I cultivated interpersonal relationships, providing close follow-up on event operations and staff under tight time management targets and peak seasons. This required me to regulate rigorous event budgets between $50k-$500k for high-profile meetings, galas fundraisers, seminars and study aboard trips.Internally, I served as a leader within my team by demonstrating good practices for cross cultural client management. I also served my team by spearheading our company-wide roundup planning efforts for our January 2017 annual meeting; increased staff satisfaction by moving the venue to a 5-star hotel, developing a detailed 5-day itinerary; presentations to include: growth metrics for the 2016, opportunities and areas of improvement for the present year.

Haiwan.com helps thousands of companies across the world bring their products directly to the Chinese tourism market. Haiwan aims to make it easy for Chinese individual travelers to go abroad without compromising on the quality and authenticity of the experience. While at Haiwan, I supported individual and team supplier development goals for the NASA (North America/South America) territory covering over 50 states and 23 countries. I synthesized weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports summarizing supplier touchpoints, contract closing and products added to company catalogs from management wish lists. I uncovered supplier and product leads through trade show networking, coordinating >30 appointments per show. I regularly outperformed team Key Performance Indicator (KPIs) metrics exceeding 2 new supplier contracts per month.In an effort to diversity the product range, in 2015, I led the company in a “China to Cuba Cruise” partnership initiative with a strategic goal of launching the first Cuba-centric cruise for Chinese individuals and families. I facilitated 20 e-meetings and conference calls; actively negotiated contracts and presented proposals on effective communication with non-Chinese business partners.

At CSOFT, I effectively learned the procedures of interface communications and print media production. I created exceptional content on developments in the localization industry, creating 10+ captivating posts featured for the company’s blog site, twitter, and annual magazine (1,184 views combined, 2k follower count on Twitter). I also conducted extensive research project(s), on behalf on the Finance Director, collecting data on potential acquisition(s) and industry forecasting trends. I supported my team by planning internal events for office-wide events for up to 150 employees. EF Education First is an international education company that specializes in language training, educational travel, academic degree programs, and cultural exchange. As an adult educator at EF, I delivered comprehensive lesson plans for 1 to 24 adult students learning 6-levels of English employing the Learn-Try-Apply methodology to literature, grammar, writing, and diction. I leveraged supplemental instruction to lead one-on-one tutoring sessions for students having trouble advancing through the curriculum. I demonstrated dedication to student success through facilitating innovative workshops/ training for foreign educators teaching English to ‘English as second Language’ (ESL) students. As an extension of classroom lessons, I lead a variety of Life Club courses that featured the intersection of English language and real- life applicable topics including culture, globalization, and travel in order to aide in a holistic understanding of the English language.
